Many things are possible at the quays in Bremen: this is where people roll up their sleeves and get things moving; this is where goods flows are set in motion, paving the way for our prosperity. This is where long-awaited products arrive from distant shores and the starting point for German exports to destinations the world over. But none of these things happen of their own accord. It needs people to do this valuable work: people who sweat, who build things, who inspect goods, keep track of everything, people who develop new products and processes and above all: people who think ahead – with conviction and commitment.
