Bremerhaven Container Terminal has set the course for growth.

Excellent nautical conditions are one of the distinguishing features of the Container Terminal on the Outer Weser. To ensure that the five-kilometre long quay continues to score top marks in future when competing with other locations, all the stakeholders are working in close consultation: firstly, the terminal operators are endeavouring to optimise cargo handling by installing new cranes and creating better loading facilities for rail traffic. Secondly, the federal government is working at top speed to complete the planning approval process for adjustment of the navigation channel. And finally, the Federal Land of Bremen plans to refurbish those sections of the quays that are beginning to show their age. The message is clear: Bremerhaven Container Terminal has set the course for growth.
