Smallest federal state with a big trade fair presence and a new podcast: “shift – Ports, Logistics, Future”

After a one-year hiatus, Transport Logistic, the world's leading trade fair for logistics, mobility, IT, and supply chain management, will reopen its doors at the Munich Exhibition Center from June 2 to 5, 2025.

With around 2,500 exhibitors from more than 70 countries, 12 halls, and a total exhibition area of 150,000 square meters, as well as an expected 75,000 visitors from 125 countries, it is not only the most important and largest trade fair in the transport and logistics sector worldwide, but above all a unique platform for innovation and networking.

The federal state of Bremen is also confidently flying the flag there once again – and is strongly represented by numerous companies: a total of 20 companies from the local logistics industry are presenting themselves at the joint stand organized by bremenports – from forklift truck suppliers, container manufacturers, and freight forwarders to global sea and air freight services. Representatives from the Institute of Shipping Economics and Logistics at the University of Bremen will also be in attendance.

“This diversity reflects the broad spectrum of the industry in Bremen and Bremerhaven – from port and transshipment services to innovative logistics solutions and sustainable transport concepts, our federal state and our joint stand not only feature the relevant providers, but also unique expertise in logistics,” says Ronald Schwarze, Head of Marketing at bremenports, adding: “We are very pleased that the exhibitors from Bremen and Bremerhaven are joining us in Munich to demonstrate their commitment to our location and its diversity.”

To mark the halfway point of the trade fair, the Bremen exhibitors are hosting a stand party on Wednesday evening at the joint stand (Hall B4, Stand 213/314), where national and international customers can meet the exhibitors.

More information about the exhibiting companies – from innovative port and logistics service providers to sustainable solutions for the future – can be found here:  www.bremenports.de/tl2025.

bremenports itself will use Transport Logistic to draw attention to the latest addition to the Bremen ports, among other things. Just in time for the start of the trade fair, on Monday, June 2, the new podcast from the Ports of Bremen will see the light of day. Under the title “shift – Ports, Logistics, Future,” bremenports has developed a series of discussions that will continue on a monthly basis in the future and will deal with the challenges and opportunities in the areas of ports, logistics, and shipping. The title “shift – Ports, Logistics, Future” primarily stands for change and transformation – and thus for core topics in logistics and the port industry. The series will kick off with a discussion between Dr. Kira Vinke from the German Council on Foreign Relations and bremenports CEO Robert Howe on the importance of ports in the fight against climate change, under the heading “Can we still be saved?”

The new port podcast “shift – Ports, Logistics, Future” will be available from Monday, June 2, on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and wherever podcasts are available.
